Moffat County United Way was formally established in 1978 by a group of residents who had the foresight to recognize the importance of mobilizing fundraising efforts for our community.
We believe that Moffat County United Way has the most productive and organized fund-raising campaign in our area - we're fortunate to have national standards and local policies coupled with a local board comprised of 21 community and business leaders who are all working toward funding fiscally responsible agencies that provide critical health and human services in Moffat County.
When you invest your charitable dollars in United Way, your dollars will be spread over a multitude of needy organizations - in effect, eliminating your need to choose whether to donate on an organization-by-organization basis.
By mobilizing our community through financial resources, United Way can fund agencies that provide support services to individuals and families therefore improving their lives through direct impact.
Campaign 2013 kicks off in mid-September. Our local banks will be the pacesetters for this year's campaign: Bank of Colorado, Bank of the West, First National Bank of the Rockies and Yampa Valley Bank.
The campaign goal for 2013 is $490,000. Contact us if you would like to donate.
